rollouts.inspection.selector_screen

Source-bound selector diagnostics and factual camera-chain measurements.

Temperature shadows are conditional immediate expectations on retained shells; they do not predict changed successor states. Factual cumulative prefix gains come from the scorer, and are not independent interior-prefix endpoint audits. Missing geometry and measurements remain None in strict JSON output.

Candidate rows and trajectory indices are not independent sampling units. This descriptive reducer provides availability counts, not confidence limits.

The caller must first admit the complete factual store with validate; inspect_selector_store provides that boundary for filesystem callers. Eligibility is reconstructed from actor support and finite raw labels. This narrow screen excludes history/sibling guards, so stored finite logits are checked evidence, never the sole definition of the eligibility mask. Recorded probabilities must be finite in [0,1], sum to one within absolute tolerance 1e-5, and be exactly zero outside eligibility. The selected action requires positive stored and reconstructed producer FP32 probability; finite logits alone do not establish categorical support after underflow.

temperatures and heading_weights optionally select conditional shadow coordinates only. Both must be nonempty, unique finite sequences; temperatures are positive and heading weights nonnegative. Their supplied order is preserved. Defaults retain the historical screen output exactly. Greedy/uniform references are emitted for every requested heading weight. Factual policy admission and stored-draw verification remain source-bound to the original frozen policy, independently of the requested shadows. Factual heading weights follow the policy’s finite nonnegative contract; the default shadow grid does not restrict the producer’s frozen weight.
