Only pairs with both factual endpoints at acquisition_prefix contribute to the effect. Scene means receive equal weight; availability counts use the wider intended comparison population. This says nothing about lookahead value or an unseen action’s return.

A missing receipt has disposition unreached; observed_status and reason retain active-worker or interrupted-staging evidence. elapsed_seconds is unavailable for a unit never completed; zero means a measured zero duration, not missing timing.

report retains the JSON-compatible CLI contract. attempts exposes the individual planned population to Streamlit and other callers. The identity covers the relevant artifact state observed both before and after store traversal; callers must request a new snapshot after it changes.

This does not validate shards or calculate gains. A consumer may use the identity to avoid reacquisition on visual rerenders, but must use experiment_report for the validated result. That scan verifies the identity again after projection to reject concurrent artifact changes.

Retain every intended work-unit disposition before computing contrasts.

Unlike execution, analysis may run after a later commit. It verifies frozen plan/config bytes and validated output stores, not the current Git head. A relocated bundle uses hash-bound configs/ and local shards/; original receipt destinations remain checked against the frozen experiment output root. Runtime source paths are never rewritten. Replica/direction are encoded in the arm name and must be compared explicitly. Optional reason codes summarize new rejected receipts; older receipts remain readable and contribute to not_recorded without changing their status.
