1 rollouts.inspection.generation_posthoc
rollouts.inspection.generation_posthoc
Immutable post-hoc evidence from one validated rollout store.
The extractor qualifies store-local identifiers before combining stores and keeps candidate, state, chain, and scene observation grains distinct. It uses the canonical rollout reader plus existing inspection reducers; it neither reconstructs labels nor opens the source VIN store.
1.1 Classes
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| GenerationPosthocEvidence | Detached canonical JSON evidence produced from validated rollout stores. |
1.1.1 GenerationPosthocEvidence
rollouts.inspection.generation_posthoc.GenerationPosthocEvidence(payload_json)Detached canonical JSON evidence produced from validated rollout stores.
1.1.1.1 Attributes
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| payload_json | Canonical UTF-8 bytes; mutable rows are returned only as decoded copies. |
1.1.1.2 Methods
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| to_payload | Return a detached payload after validating the fixed result schema. |
1.1.1.2.1 to_payload
rollouts.inspection.generation_posthoc.GenerationPosthocEvidence.to_payload()Return a detached payload after validating the fixed result schema.
1.2 Functions
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| combine_generation_posthoc | Combine independently extracted stores after qualified-identity checks. |
| enrich_generation_posthoc | Attach separately admitted context through qualified source identities. |
| extract_generation_posthoc | Extract qualified descriptive tables from one completed rollout store. |
| generation_thesis_tables | Project admitted scene reductions without changing their statistical unit. |
1.2.1 combine_generation_posthoc
rollouts.inspection.generation_posthoc.combine_generation_posthoc(evidences)Combine independently extracted stores after qualified-identity checks.
1.2.2 enrich_generation_posthoc
rollouts.inspection.generation_posthoc.enrich_generation_posthoc(
evidence,
*,
root_evidences=(),
model_states=(),
dispositions=(),
collection_timings=(),
nominations=(),
analysis_provenance,
)Attach separately admitted context through qualified source identities.
Root rows must match a rollout chain by source manifest, sample index, and sample key. Model rows name the exact admitted store ids and bind their checkpoint and label-source digests. Dispositions retain every catalog member independently from successful extraction.
1.2.3 extract_generation_posthoc
rollouts.inspection.generation_posthoc.extract_generation_posthoc(
store_dir,
*,
cohort_label,
stage,
)Extract qualified descriptive tables from one completed rollout store.
The store is admitted through canonical validation and promotion checks. Candidate labels remain nullable outside their authoritative masks; no unsupported or nonfinite value is converted to zero.
1.2.4 generation_thesis_tables
rollouts.inspection.generation_posthoc.generation_thesis_tables(tables)Project admitted scene reductions without changing their statistical unit.
Q-train yield retains allocated proposal support. Exclusive-best fractions retain the original family flags (including ties and negative maxima), but are undefined if any recorded state has no finite actor/oracle-label gain. A family with no finite gains can still have a measured zero exclusive-best fraction when other families support every state. Qualified state lineage prevents local IDs from joining across stores, cohorts or stages.
1.2.4.1 Parameters
| Name | Type | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| tables | Mapping[str, Sequence[Mapping[str, Any]]] | Validated native generation post-hoc tables, detached from stores. | required |
1.2.4.2 Returns
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| dict[str, list[dict[str, Any]]] | Family/scene, all-step/scene and declared-horizon risk-set rows. Existing | |
| dict[str, list[dict[str, Any]]] | numerical fields are unchanged; added support fields distinguish zero | |
| dict[str, list[dict[str, Any]]] | from unavailable and retain qualified state identities. |
1.2.4.3 Raises
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| ValueError | If a qualified state or scene reduction is duplicated, or a family row cannot join exactly one state in its own stratum. |
