data_handling.identifiers

Canonical conversions between raw and compact ASE-ATEK identifiers.

These pure helpers own identifier normalization only. Shard resolution and raw snippet loading remain in aria_nbv.data_handling.ase_efm.

Return the scene prefix from an ASE/ATEK sequence name.

Sequence names conventionally use <scene>_<suffix>. Names without a separator are already scene identifiers, while the empty name stays empty. This parser intentionally does not validate the upstream ontology.
