1 oracle.pipelines.root_fragments

oracle.pipelines.root_fragments

Recover interrupted root prefixes into fresh immutable assigned fragments.

The canonical VIN writer retains its manifest/index/split publication semantics. This controller freezes exact scene/snippet work and host ownership, validates published fragments, and schedules only missing assignments. A partial sealed prefix is a valid fragment; incomplete staging is quarantined, never appended or used as a completed root. No second append-only controls ledger is created.

1.1 Classes

Name Description
RootFragmentConfig Frozen source writer, finite assignments and bounded fragment layout.
RootSnippetAssignment One exact source snippet, qualified by its physical scene identity.

1.1.1 RootFragmentConfig

oracle.pipelines.root_fragments.RootFragmentConfig()

Frozen source writer, finite assignments and bounded fragment layout.

1.1.1.1 Attributes

Name Description
writer_config_path Existing canonical root writer configuration; copied and byte-bound at freeze.
output_root Exclusive plan/state/config/fragment directory, separate from existing roots.
snippets Finite prespecified population in fair source order, before host partitioning.
hosts Frozen endpoint identities; offline status never changes assignments.
snippets_per_fragment Maximum independently recoverable root work units in a fresh fragment.

1.1.2 RootSnippetAssignment

oracle.pipelines.root_fragments.RootSnippetAssignment()

One exact source snippet, qualified by its physical scene identity.

1.1.2.1 Attributes

Name Description
scene_id Frozen source scene; repeated snippets in distinct scenes remain distinct.
snippet_id Exact compact ATEK sample identity, never a shard filename or suffix wildcard.
key Return an unambiguous scene-qualified assignment key.

1.2 Functions

Name Description
freeze_root_fragments Freeze exact work before generation without replacing any existing root.
main Freeze, run or explicitly resume exact root fragments.
request_root_control Persist one host’s pause/resume, acknowledged only at a writer boundary.
root_control_state Read durable boundary pause and origin; malformed identity fails closed.
root_host_directory Locate one frozen host’s lifecycle without depending on endpoint status.
root_runner_is_quiescent Check the canonical runner lock; historical PIDs never grant ownership.
run_root_fragments Reconcile sealed prefixes and run exact unfinished snippets in fresh stores.

1.2.1 freeze_root_fragments

oracle.pipelines.root_fragments.freeze_root_fragments(config)

Freeze exact work before generation without replacing any existing root.

1.2.2 main

oracle.pipelines.root_fragments.main()

Freeze, run or explicitly resume exact root fragments.

1.2.3 request_root_control

oracle.pipelines.root_fragments.request_root_control(
    plan_path,
    host,
    action,
    *,
    origin='operator',
)

Persist one host’s pause/resume, acknowledged only at a writer boundary.

1.2.4 root_control_state

oracle.pipelines.root_fragments.root_control_state(output_root, host, plan_hash)

Read durable boundary pause and origin; malformed identity fails closed.

1.2.5 root_host_directory

oracle.pipelines.root_fragments.root_host_directory(output_root, host)

Locate one frozen host’s lifecycle without depending on endpoint status.

1.2.6 root_runner_is_quiescent

oracle.pipelines.root_fragments.root_runner_is_quiescent(output_root, host)

Check the canonical runner lock; historical PIDs never grant ownership.

1.2.7 run_root_fragments

oracle.pipelines.root_fragments.run_root_fragments(
    plan_path,
    *,
    host=None,
    resume=False,
    should_stop=None,
    stop_after_fragments=None,
)

Reconcile sealed prefixes and run exact unfinished snippets in fresh stores.

Reconciliation validates the config-bound assignment and every declared block before reconstructing a missing post-publication receipt. Receipts seal all published bytes; replacements reject. Forced pre-publication interruption leaves no admitted receipt and preserves staging in quarantine. Directories reserved before assignment publication remain incomplete evidence; retries use a fresh ordinal and never admit or replace those bytes. should_stop stops admission at the canonical writer’s sample boundary.
