Read the selector's path without inventing physical motion

This is a supporting geometric viewer for the temperature/heading screen, not an independent experiment. It shows eight factual arms for each of eight matched source roots.

Open the interactive target-relative trajectories. The target is at the origin; axes retain the initial target-aligned, world-Z-up frame and distances are metres. Black crosses mark targets and short ticks show optical forward direction. Rotate the view and toggle arms to compare actual paths.

Bend, camera yaw change, target distance and bearing describe geometric differences. First bends/yaw changes are unavailable, not zero. Near-stationary translations have unavailable bends. Bearing wraps at ±180°, which can look like a reversal despite a continuous path. Acquisition indices supply order but no duration.

Interpretation: inspect geometric proxies together with endpoint gain and validity. The viewer cannot establish speed, jerk, swept collision safety, gaze-pitch smoothness or human realism. The strongest supported selector comparison and its completion denominators are in the parent report.

Reuse

From the repository root, reproduce this view from the complete hydrated archived bundle:

PYTHONPATH=aria_nbv aria_nbv/.venv/bin/python -m aria_nbv.reporting.selector_geometry \
  --bundle .agents/archive/experiments/2026-09-research/selector_screen_20260930/pre-synthesis-20261015 \
  --output /tmp/selector-geometry \
  --manifest-sha256 a4a234357d524e5e6a6de1191f79aa39640be87e4528c57f3fb2a2edf7750804

This native readback admits all 64 attempts using the original manifest pin. It opens no raw stores. The frozen guide's old active-bundle path predates the archive relocation.

The original guide identifies selector_screen.selector_trajectory_figures and the supported aria_nbv.reporting.selector_geometry adapter. geometry-tables.json retains the 64 identities and displayed arrays; its manifest authenticates this derived view, without claiming current live-store validation. No new coordinates or display rotations were computed for this edition.

Methods, complete tables, original figures and version history

Previous primary report retains its complete narrative, exact tables and original figures. This 15 October revision is an authored synthesis, not a new experiment or a change to the numerical snapshot. Interactive target-relative trajectories.

Experiment index and evidence routes. Missing/private parents remain explicit in the native campaign owner; historical versions retain their original dates and scientific identities.

Scientific snapshot and attempt identities remain those of the cited experiment. Report synthesis: 15 October 2026; restored to the domain/date owner: 16 October 2026.
